Cooking for Two
Cooking for a family is one thing but it is very hard to get use to cooking for just 2. We end up having left overs or choose to eat out. The left overs often get throw away and is not cost effective. The eating out is very unhealthy and expensive.
After much searching and trying to figure out what to do; Les bought me a new crockpot (that contains 4 different crocks; 2 are 1.5 quarts and 2 are 2.5 quarts).
We spent 20 minutes making meals for four different days. The first one is lasagna (with vegetables and turkey meat), next is chicken soup, next stuffed cabbage (again with turkey meat), and the final one is chicken fajita fixings.
Now the test to see if it works out...I will update you on the progress of the planning meals in this fashion.
